Mindfulness Therapy

Mindfulness therapy, often referred to as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), is a therapeutic approach that combines elements of mindfulness meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). The goal of mindfulness therapy is to help you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations in the present moment.

Mindfulness therapy can be taught in individual therapy sessions or group settings. Some people may also participate in structured programs like MBSR or MBCT, which typically involve weekly sessions and mindfulness practice assignments.
