Sarah Richards, LSW

Sarah Richards, LSW holds a Masters  Degree in Social Work from The University of Illinois at Chicago and specializes in Children and Families.  She is a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist  with a passion for helping children and families navigate the challenges  of mental health issues. 

Sarah employs a client-centered approach  focused on building trust and rapport to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment. Through active listening, empathy, and collaboration, Sarah works closely with children and their families to identify strengths, address concerns, and develop effective coping strategies to promote emotional  well-being and resilience.

Outside  of her professional endeavors, Sarah enjoys cooking, hiking, yoga and  being involved in social justice related advocacy work. Sarah volunteers  in the community and feels it's important to give back to those less fortunate.
