Behavioral Health Services at the Ohio Center

Theresa Gaser, MSSA, LCSW, LISWS is an accomplished mental health professional specializing in behavioral health, with extensive experience in providing mental health support to individuals, couples, children, and families across various clinical and school settings. As a certified Trauma Specialist and a trained IBCT (Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy) therapist, she brings a specialized focus to her evidence-based treatment practices. Theresa has also been certified by the National Institute for Trauma and Loss in Children, further underscoring her expertise in addressing trauma-related issues.


In addition to her clinical work, Mrs. Gaser is an esteemed educator and professional trainer, focusing on critical areas such as suicide prevention, trauma, sexual trauma, domestic violence, and ethics in high-risk clinical situations. Licensed to practice in Ohio and Florida, she remains committed to advancing the field of mental health through her therapy services, training, and advocacy.


Theresa is also the author of "Ice Cream Cone Feelings" and "There’s a Squirrel in My Tummy," books designed to help children identify their emotions and enhance their ability to trust their gut instincts, incorporating mindfulness therapy techniques to foster emotional awareness.
