Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT)

The Benefits of using IBCT

IBCT was developed to help couples who are experiencing relationship distress. It combines elements of traditional Behavioral Couple Therapy (BCT) with more emotionally focused interventions, aiming to address both the behavioral patterns and the emotional experiences that contribute to conflict and dissatisfaction in a relationship.

The goal of IBCT is to help couples reduce conflict, increase intimacy, and enhance emotional closeness. It is particularly helpful for couples experiencing entrenched patterns of dissatisfaction, but it is also used to prevent future issues and strengthen relationships over time.
