Dr. Mary Benson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of diverse clinical experience in family medicine, urgent care, occupational health, and behavioral health. She is dual-certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Credentialing Center and holds multi-state licensure across Mississippi, California, Connecticut, New York, and Washington.
Dr. Benson earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She also completed her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification and Master of Science in Nursing at the same institution.
Dr. Benson provides adult family medicine and urgent care services, offering same-day, next-day, and telehealth appointments. She specializes in managing both chronic and acute conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, ADHD, restless leg syndrome, and body dysmorphic disorder. Her approach integrates physical and mental health care to ensure comprehensive treatment for her patients.
